MEET THE COACH
Nick Woodard is a native of Houston, Texas. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a concentration in Business Management.
Nick began jumping rope at the age of 6 with a team called Razz-Ma-Tazz and has now been actively involved with the sport for 26 years. Throughout Nick’s jump rope career he has been blessed with many opportunities to travel around the world promoting the sport through workshops, exhibitions, shows, competitions, etc. He has earned several titles including Grand National Champion and Grand World Champion.
Nick has also performed with Cirque du Soleil, jumped for several television networks, and been featured on a documentary called JUMP!. He has traveled to 30 states within the United States as well as 16 countries across 5 continents.

AMBASSADOR
Nick is one of the creators and leaders of the WJRF Ambassador Program. The group strives to unify the sport of jump rope through athletes’ personal skill sets, strengths and capabilities. Nick helps lead this group in the growth and expansion of our sport around the world.
NEXT GENERATION
Nick's passion for children, athletes, and the sport of jump rope is evident to everyone he meets. He consistently serves as a valuable leader in the sport and strives to use his abilities to positively impact everyone around him
OWNER
Nick is the owner of the Learnin' The Ropes jump rope program. He started this program in the fall of 2016 in Knoxville, TN. The program is designed to teach youth of all ages the fundamentals of jump rope. We teach skills in single rope, double dutch, shared ropes, long rope and more. Along with teaching the activity and sport of jump rope, we work on developing strong character qualities such as leadership, integrity, team work, communication, perseverance, etc.
PERFORMER
Nick is the creator of the Electrick Jumpers which is a professional performance group. The team has performed at multiple arenas for NBA, WNBA, and NCAA games. Electrick is available to meet a broad variety of show and performance needs.
Nick was a part of a highly talented jump rope group that had the honor of performing at the 2012 Olympics in London. The team performed over 30 times throughout the men's and women's basketball games, including the Men's Gold Medal game.
Nick was one of the original members and creators of the Houston Rockets Launch Crew. Launch Crew is an interactive squad made up of tumblers, break dancers, jump ropers, dancers, and cheerleaders. They perform high level time outs and halftime shows throughout the basketball season.
